Full Council meetings presented online

Southend on Sea City Council has introduced webcasting for Full Council meetings and meetings of Cabinet, Scrutiny Committees and some Committees. Webcasting enables any member of the public equipped with a computer, tablet or smartphone to view these meetings. Webcasting aims to deliver greater openness, to a much wider audience, at a time and place convenient to them.

How to use this site

Upcoming and recent webcasts are displayed on this page. Archived webcasts from the last 6 months can be found in the Webcast library.

To view a webcast, simply click on the title of the meeting. The webcast should play automatically.

When watching, check out any extra features that may be available such as speaker profiles and a feedback form to submit comments. In an archived webcast, use the links in the timeline to jump to a specific agenda item or speaker.
